Bernie Scott has owned and operated The Joy of Flowers since 1981. He studied with Internationally known Floral Designer, Gloria Ray, of Tinley Park, Illinois. His Major Accomplishments are as follows:
former First Lady Nancy Reagan at Lincoln Center’s Metropolitan Opera House and Damarosch Park
•Hired to help design arrangements for several New York South Hampton Weddings
• Hired to design arrangements for a wedding at St. Thomas Cathedral in
New York City. The reception, held at the Plaza Hotel consisted of numerous
table arrangements as well as an enormous floral chandelier in the center
of the Grand Ballroom
• Worked on the Miss America pageant flowers in Atlantic City
• Helped supervise the Flag of Remembrance in Washington DC at the Vietnam Memorial Wall and featured on “Good Morning America.”
•Solely designed the arrangements for the Pan American International
Ball, hosted by America’s Cup winner, Dennis Conner
•Hired by Cartier to design arrangements for their promotion of the new fragrance, Panthere.
• Designed all florals for the Miss Indiana Scholarship Pageant
